Nosy as I am, I approached one lady pilot and asked her why so few lady pilots were present. Her answer was that maybe it is considered “a boy’s thing”. I told her that pilots are called upon monstrous multitasking and women seem good at it, which she admitted as true. Also, what I noticed was, I was the only one in the seminar that was visibly a minority participant. This make me think low income groups seem excluded?
